All managers go eventually but Gus didn't end well , Hyppia was a nightmare , Hughton's dismissal caused a media backlash and Potter has us on goal difference from a relegation position.
It's a tricky job but selecting a manager has not been plain sailing for TB.
Fulham had 7 loan players in their starting 11 against Liverpool so it can be done. I am not saying this is Potters fault as it might not come under his role but it is an area where we could do better.
Has Potter , in his 2 season tenure, every played a player that has been loaned to us ? Welbeck is not on loan as he was released by Watford.
I can't think of one - I feel this has been an area where we have really fallen short. Where our squad is weak (upfront) we don't seemed to have...

I think a fair percentage of them have been clean sheets and he was the difference between drawing and losing at Fulham.
Only thing I can remember was when Lamptey's goal at Spurs was allowed to stand after VAR failed to spot March's foul in build up. But we still lost :eek:
I agree that the first half performance was very good. What I don't understand is the drop off in the second half. Lallana admitted that the team thought and acted as if the game was won at half time. That is bizarre . I would have thought that we would have upped our work rate and closing down...
