Relegation threatened BHA (17th) meet Southampton (14th) at St Mary's for next Sunday's league match. By the time of kick off - the seagulls could find themselves in the bottom three for the the first time in 141 Premier League matches. After being 10 points clear of the drop zone, Albion are now level on points with Fulham who meet Manchester City next Saturday evening.
A lot can happen in a week. Will Potter still be in a job? Will he find a way to get some belief in our flagging forwards? 12 league games without scoring more than a goal, 3 straight defeats, no wins in 5 - says we are in free-fall. Yet - we have beaten Liverpool & Spurs this year - so it is in us......
Our record against The Saints is wretched - 8 wins, 14 draws & 26 defeats. We have failed to win any of our last 8 meetings & you have to go back to a League 1 fixture in 2009 when we won in Hampshire.
