It does seem just a little odd that we would be buying from div 1, for say a couple of million. Yet only a short time ago were about to pay mega bucks for a player.
I personally think Mr Tony is giving it his all this season, hence we've sold no first team players, despite offers. So at a guess...
Early days yet, I know. But his glaring missed chance was reminiscent of Obika. And bearing in mind the start he had, and that he got his tame shot off just before he was caught. I think his reluctance to sign here, may have been a blessing..... Cue his hatrick next weekend!
It's a nonsense to believe that lower league players can't become huge players in higher leagues...there's a chap called Vardy that springs immediately to mind.

I think Chris Hughton is God, and I worship his input to BHA. I also know he has more footy knowledge and know how than I could muster if I lived to be a thousand. But I do so very much wish he'd stop taking off a forward, and adding a midfielder when we are a goal up and only halfway through...
Mmmm ...... well not as natural as Tomer Hemed, who scored four goals more than he did last season. And CH doesn't seem overly enamoured in him, as he appears to favour Murray.
