Should England go on and win this thing, I hope everybody is mentally prepared for the inevitability of Sir Gareth.
(I'm not massively into the honours system but as a personal legacy, a Knighthood is infinitely preferable to The Sun superimposing your face on a turnip, I suppose).
I don't really bother engaging too much with the pre, mid and post match punditry. - it's just 'on' in the background. But when it's ITV, I do get fed up of Mark Pougatch NEEDLESSLY SHOUTING at his studio guests. Just speak normally, ffs, you bellend.
EDIT
Plus, I don't like the way ITV seem to...
So Spain get either England or Netherlands in the final
UEFA may as well give them the trophy now and see if they can get a refund on the stadium hire for Sunday.
If he brings the Donald to Essex, I can pretty much guarantee that the Presidential limo will get nicked before you can say ‘walk-about’ and end up for sale round the back of a flat-roofed boozer in Pitsea.
