If you don't drink that much and go out with people who are borderline alcoholic....

I hate being around them as well (and I'm a recovering one) but I have endless time for them if , and you've hit the nail on the head, THEY want to. Otherwise you're correct, it's a waste of time.

    The definition of "loyalty"

I am a STH and haven't missed a home game in that period so my question is still valid if you believe as I do that I've I earned the right to go to Old Trafford as opposed to someone who hasn't put the miles in but just fancies it because we're in the Premiership.

    The definition of "loyalty"

I've been to every away game bar about three (including tin pot cups) for about the last ten years. Why should I miss out this season because someone who has never been to an away game fancies going to Old Trafford?

[Albion] LoyaltyPointGate - discussion with the club

I think we've conclusively proved we are are customers rather than fans and I would have thought Paul Barber would have been pleased by this. The fact that he thinks "goodwill" is involved anymore is ironic to say the least. If he doesn't like the fact that his system didn't work this time...

[Albion] Bournemouth Cup game - did you go, or did you "go"?

Split. I'm thinking of going to Trogir tomorrow if the weathers not great.

[Albion] Bournemouth Cup game - did you go, or did you "go"?

Snide chancer here. I bought them in good faith but something came up ( I'm in Croatia) so I gave them (not sold them) to a season ticket holder and his season ticket holding mate who had been unable to get any. I didn't even think about the points as I've got loads. Better shoot me quick before...

True, but he's worth an each way bet especially in the strange straw hat he was modelling today.

I'm at Lords today and have been able to observe Farage in the flesh. It's hard to think of any way he could be more part of the "elite". What ever you think of his politics, he is a posh bloke who'd get even money in the upper class twit of the year competition.

3rd Investec Test Match - England v West Indies - Lords

Kinda worth it to see that fine display of swing bowling from Stokes but some truly awful batting.

3rd Investec Test Match - England v West Indies - Lords

I'm at Lords. Hoping to see his 500th. Pitch fairly dead. Bowling pretty good, batting a bit nervous at times.

Yep. Mother on law broke her wrist today, she's 84 and was in shock. Perfect excuse.

    Womens Cricket Super League

Should have stayed for the final which was great. Some great batting and some very good catches, a nice stumping as well. Much better entertainment than any of the mens T20 games up there this year. The fact that women being less powerful than men means that they still have to play...

Whilst not disputing what you say, Tom Watson doesn't really speak for Labour these days.
