I hate being around them as well (and I'm a recovering one) but I have endless time for them if , and you've hit the nail on the head, THEY want to. Otherwise you're correct, it's a waste of time.
I am a STH and haven't missed a home game in that period so my question is still valid if you believe as I do that I've I earned the right to go to Old Trafford as opposed to someone who hasn't put the miles in but just fancies it because we're in the Premiership.
I've been to every away game bar about three (including tin pot cups) for about the last ten years. Why should I miss out this season because someone who has never been to an away game fancies going to Old Trafford?

I'm at Lords today and have been able to observe Farage in the flesh. It's hard to think of any way he could be more part of the "elite". What ever you think of his politics, he is a posh bloke who'd get even money in the upper class twit of the year competition.
Should have stayed for the final which was great. Some great batting and some very good catches, a nice stumping as well. Much better entertainment than any of the mens T20 games up there this year.
