I entirely empathise:

Maybe our reasons are different, but I feel exactly the same.
There are two days on which you should never bet on football: Boxing Day and opening day. Results are bonkers on both days; completely unpredictable, so nothing on this weekend for me.
Can't offer advice on specific vineyards I'm afraid, but I strongly recommend you get some Albariño down you while you're out there - Galicia produces some cracking wines, but that grape's my fave (though many of the Ribeiros are good, IMHO).
To be fair, though, Easy, it fits nicely into this board's long and ignoble history of some posters knocking a player before they've even kicked a ball for us (some of whom never do anyway).
Hmm. You end up with Bury being bigger than Brighton, probably because of their FA Cup win 110 years ago. No system can work out something which is only ever a matter of opinion anyway.
Oh Spanish Dave,
What does he do?
Oh Spanish Dave what does he do?
He scores goals past the Palace,
Oh Spanish Dave what does he do?
Oh Spa-nish Dave... etc
Nope, and it's got nothing to do with the players or the manager, or expectations of where we'll finish. It's all about the hangover from last season - losing to that lot, and the subsequent shenanigans has drained any sense of optimism or positivity from me. I have no sense of excitement about...
Needs a poll, this, if there isn't one somewhere already. Personally my sympathies are with the checkout girl* - if she'd been having a conversation with the next-along checkout operative, the customer would not doubt have complained about it. There are, as has been said, certain interactions...
Get there early, as has been suggested. Get a pie - the chicken and ham is a favourite. Lubricate vocal chords with a cold beverage or ten. Sing, loudly.
Much, much less than leading up to the away leg, and not because I'm convinced we're going through. Still got a bad feeling about it, but Friday was all about the anticipation of the thing, once inside the stadium, while it was still as tense as anything, it wasn't as bad as the day(s) leading...
Got to wonder if Zaha will start on our right on Monday. He's clearly not up to Bridge's quality, but he gave Calde a torrid time. United have hugely overpaid for him, I'm pleased to say. I was a bit surprised at the start that he didn't start on Calde's side, and that we hadn't played Barnes in...
I think we did OK for under 10% of the gate, with such a gap between us and them on the left-hand side. Given the loyalty points required, you're talking about a support largely comprising died-in-the-wool fans, ex-Withdeaners etc, and fewer of the 'pwoper nawty' crew, so it's not likely to be...
I thought we showed both sides of our game. Played all the football first half, dug in and evidenced why we've got such a good defensive record second half. Still too close to call for Monday. Good work from the Brighton in the exec box up above and to our right, by the way!
Icy, if I were silly enough to bet on Championship games (which I'm not, they're impossible to call), and not a Brighton fan, I'd have had my money on Leicester to go up. That is exactly the sort of story the twisted football gods like to write.
