Advice -Wine tasting in Galicia

Heading to Santiago early September and have noticed that several wine regions are close by. Being a bit of a wino I am toying with the idea of doing some wine tasting while I'm there.

If anyone could offer advice on how to go about it, what places to contact, how much it costs and anything else about the logistics of it, I would be very grateful.

I understand how this may be a specialist requirement but general advice regarding wine tasting abroad would be appreciated.

Can't offer advice on specific vineyards I'm afraid, but I strongly recommend you get some Albariño down you while you're out there - Galicia produces some cracking wines, but that grape's my fave (though many of the Ribeiros are good, IMHO).

Sorry, I was very vague and was not referring to your destination. I have only been to vineyards in France, and the majority offer this service.
