As others have mentioned, people weren't confident about getting tickets in the lower tiers so perhaps they backed off booking travel. I was sweating until Tuesday morning, so everyone desperately bought a ticket for the first half hour as quick as they could when their tier opened. I'm sure...
Still think >2.5k that we've sold so far is a phenomenal effort bearing in mind there notice time has been very short. I think we'll get up to around 2.8-3k by the end of next week when they're taken off of sale.
I think it depends which side of Milan you come from. If you come to the canal side from Porta Genova it doesn't seem bad at all. My girlfriend wanted to check out the art university there so we came to the canals via the neighbourhoods. My Italian friends from Milan thought it was really stupid...
Not sure they will. I think they'll give it another couple of days and then put it on sale to anyone else who wants one with a season ticket or MyAlbion+ with tiers. Only speculating of course...
I have just seen the area where it happened. Navigli is probably the most unsafe I've ever felt in Europe, minus the lovely canal (if that bit counts in the area). I'm sure there are worse places even in Milan, but for me that was something else. Not surprised when the Geordies set up along the...
I think you will be fine if I'm honest. It'll take 5 minutes on the tram or a 10 minute walk. Just go straight there and I think the club will probably still have some presence a bit after 3 hours before kick off.
Maybe I wasn't clear, I wasn't advocating that at all. I was saying if it changed that anyone could get a ticket tomorrow before I had the chance to in my window, I wouldn't be happy. Of course I want it to sell out.
Soo
Spot on. I’ve done the hard yards of aways when I lived in Brighton and had a season ticket for years. Same feelings as you and the club made it obvious that you had to pre register for a chance of a ticket, even if that chance was minuscule. Would be fuming if they changed it tomorrow.
I don't disagree. However, it wouldn't surprise me if Groß has something in his contract about the amount of chances he creates. He'll want to be recognised for it.
Players definitely give a toss. I'm pretty sure it came about due to negotiating bonuses and being recognised for your on field contribution, especially if you're a midfielder who doesn't score often.
So still around 1300-1400 left. I think we'll see the biggest drop in a bit when all other STHs are able to buy in an hour or so. Bodes well for the Tuesday 2pmers.
Think we'll win this won pretty comfortably. Adrenaline from being the first game and wanting to make a statement. Gone with 3-0, we really need a clean sheet...
