Apart from having scored four fewer goals than Burnley, our record is identical to theirs over 40+ games. So how is one a 'class act' and one just the 'in-form side'?
Looking at the oneboro forum earlier, one or two of them seem oddly nervous about the Ipswich game specifically, for some reason. Maybe they have a poor record against them or something?
I have a bad feeling about every game at the moment - it's the hope that I can't stand - but so far the team...
Seeing the club's warning to get to the ground early tonight, and their announcement about the trains post-Fulham, they seem to be aware of the issue at least. But how many of us choose to get to the game as late as possible? To make a night game, I have to get permission to leave work an hour...
Spot on. It's the old 'it's the hope I can't stand' adage. This is nowhere, nowhere near as stressful as the tail-end of the Hereford season, but I'm nervous as hell, and it's excruciating watching at the moment. I've got a bad feeling about tonight. But I have a bad feeling before every game at...
Ditto, surrey jim. All four sides of the room, the exit being through the tank itself, with the best pool table money could buy in the centre of the room. And a well-stocked fridge built into the floor, which would rise up at the touch of a button to present you with your cold ones, obviously.
I proofread for a living, old chap. Don is a noun, or a verb if used correctly. It's never, ever an adjective. I understand it, and it's gibberish. Pip pip.
Don't mind the early Saturday ones too much, providing they're not hundreds of miles away or making away fans come to Brighton from hundreds of miles away. Have voted Sat 3pm though - that's when football's meant to be.
Interesting how many regard the beard as a fundamental criterion by which PotS is decided. On that basis, Bruno's a shoo-in. I've voted for Kayal, though. Sentiment, whether he'll get another chance, facial hair, etc - yes yes yes. All very well. But for me Kayal has still managed to stand out...
Then you've got a short memory, or you are indeed a kid, Frankie. Whatever the sins of Charlton the club, the Charlton fans were hugely supportive of us when we needed it. The very least we could do is empathise now the boot's on the other foot.
Whichever game has something riding on it will be on, so if neither Boro nor our outcome is settled by then, it'll certainly be live. If nothing's settled they may do some kind of red button thingy where more than one game's available?
Possibly, narly. He certainly has an eye for goal - scored a very good hattrick away to Oviedo recently.. He'd be a good signing, for sure, but in an area in which the squad's already pretty congested.
Valladolid are my Spanish team - I watch any stream I can of them, and have seen them live quite a few times. Vilar's a decent player, but I wouldn't suggest he's any better than Murphy, the Mighty Skalak or Knockaert. Player I most like in that side is Roger, the forward. He's a good player.
Their website says:
Season ticket holders, Valley Gold members and existing Red Card holders are eligible to purcahse (sic) tickets for the game and seats can be bought by visiting the Valley’s ticket office in person or by calling 03330 14 44 44.
So it'll take a change in policy to get in.
At risk of repeating myself, unless Charlton change their position, you won't be able to simply turn up and pay to get in the home sections. You won't even be able to buy a ticket for the home sections beforehand unless you're a member there - Red Cards, I think they call their cards. They're...
Clear downward motion applied on one of his legs, not just coming down naturally under gravity. How there's even any debate is baffling to me. And I love the stock answer of any footballer called out on a moment of thuggery by either fans or reporters; 'You've never played the game.' Entirely...
