We left on 77 minutes last night, probably the earliest I have ever left any game. I just couldn’t see a goal coming from anywhere except maybe a third for Spurs. By the time we got to the car, I was actually quite relieved it had ended 0-2 and wasn’t even worse.
I have only been there to see us once, in 1985. We won 1-0 and the ground was a complete hole. Had to get past the subway army on the way in, a few dirtied their Pringle sweaters coming up to the away end via the pitch after the game, it was a bit pathetic really. I doubt much has changed, I...
I was due to go to Sri Lanka in 2003, managed to get a hernia and had to cancel it so went instead to Antigua in 2004. It was the Lara 400 game at the old Antigua Rec, what a game to be at. Alan Smith (the old Palace manager) was sat near us for the whole test, had quite a few chats with him...

Genuinely shocked and saddened by this news.
I saw him win the World Cup semi for Australia at Edgbaston in 1999, saw him get his 700th test wicket at the MCG in 2006 and got chance to meet and have a quick chat with him in Melbourne on our 2017/18 tour.
An all time great, loved the world...
You say that, I bought a pair of tickets at the Allianz Arena for a game in 2019. When we got to the seats, there was a gangway, an exit and two metre high walls in between the two seats, but apparently they counted as sat together because they were consecutive numbers! After a lot of whinging...
