At the moment empty seats are , on the whole, PAID empty seats. In the Championship they will be UNPAID empties. .

I think you're right. Frustrating but if we should slip back into the Championship I think we will have about 8k empty seats.

and therein lies the problem. I think all Prem players are vastly overpaid but we are not competing on a level playing field. We cannot attract proven decent strikers therefore we rely on a gamble from lower leagues or abroad. How long can we continue doing this ?

Tis a mystery as to why the Club can't see it or maybe they do - lack of money ?

The County Ground at Northampton was an interesting football/cricket ground. I haven't seen the Albion there but I did go to see a match (when I was ticking off grounds) and where the football pitch ran into the cricket pitch they had erected a small wooden stand which was only three rows high...

We have gone on another of our drawing sequences , similar to last season, apart from the City game we could have won all of them but we didn't but I think we were the better side against Arsenal , Norwich , Leicester (cup), Liverpool and Newcastle - which is better than last season.
