    [Football] Chelsea or Fulham?

Was that the Fofana that we were after? I quite liked the look of him. Muscular, direct, dangerous.

Defenestration! If you haven't heard this album - treat yourself. It's a stunner start to finish. The Defestration of St Martin by Martin Rossiter

    [Albion] De Zerbi Thoughts?

There is some quite interesting thinking about the three types of perfectionism. But in some cases, a lack of empathy or external awareness can be an issue. But I take your point - he may just be someone very well connected to his own feelings. Which is rare, if not complex. (and point...

    [Albion] De Zerbi Thoughts?

Firstly, I called him astonishing and complex. And I don't see complex as a negative. Definitely not hand wringing. Secondly, you are describing his behavior. He appears, at least in public, to be pretty consistent. I was referring to the complexity behind that. What are the drivers for someone...

[Albion] Paul Winstanley joins Chelsea as Director of Global Talent and Transfers

Always disliked any title with co- in it. Co is short for "fudged". In which case (this case) shoudln't that be fu-Sporting Director?

[Albion] Are these the shortest odds we've ever been to win a Premier League game?

Didn't we all say this before we got a draw away at Leicester?

[Offers] Improving posting standards on NSC - some suggestions

I appreciate @jcdenton08 for making the suggestions. They feel a bit Swiss when NSC is more Italian in its approach. It's always evolving here and all ideas are welcomed (even with lashings of piss taking), but ultimately we have Bozza to thank for the gentle, rambling, informative, funny...

[Albion] How Is Brighton's Recruitment So Good?

Great share. Thank you @Tyrone Biggums The big question really is, can we keep it up? My guess is that most Brighton fans, as ever, are just enjoying the ride. And maybe just a little more so at the moment.

So useful @chaileyjem thank you. It does make you realise that behind the "starting XI" (and even some of them), we're pretty inexperienced/young.

[Albion] *** The Official January 2023 Deadline Day Transfer Window Thread***

Let's not forget the shit stirring "journalists" who are clearly in the pay of clubs or betting syndicates. That really became a mainstream thing in the disinformation war this window.

    [Albion] Matvienko

And you're ignoring salaries. I suspect they're a blocker for us as often as fee.

[Albion] Moises Caicedo - New contract signed until summer 2027 with 1 year extra option.

I do wonder if much of the crap spouted by "journalists" and ITK types is fed by people with a vested interest in the betting market being volatile?

    [Albion] Bloom’s Biggest Bluff

I don't think our challenges is signing players for big(ish) fees. I think it's trying to keep a check on wages. That will always be our biggest issue I suspect.
  19. Couldn't Be Hyypia

[Albion] Is the top 4 really out of reach?

Some teams behind us have spent big and will be more of a challenge in the second half of the season. And getting to the FA Cup final will mean extra games and more midweeks. We have a thin squad so we'll have to be lucky with injuries. But, yes, we could do it.
