    [Albion] Under Gus

Fair enough. I've been a bit confused by our approach at times this season but agree, getting the ball forward quicker was certainly a slight adaption which was needed on last season's style. I don't understand why when we have the chance to counter attack we tend to slow the attack down but...

    [Albion] Under Gus

Instead of pass it round at the back for a few passes then let Greer punt it up the pitch to an isolated Ulloa?

    [Albion] Under Gus

Good point. Although that was one of our worst performances of the entire season. I don't think the difference between our normal performance this season and Saturday was as drastic. Still not anti-Oscar. Just a bit, well, bored I guess, by our style of play at times this season.

Will it be a MARVELLOUS March or a miserable March?

Boom boom. That made me chuckle.

Will it be a MARVELLOUS March or a miserable March?

    Mediocre March methinks.

That Glenn Murray is a very good player

I am pleased for Glenn and wish him well. Just a shame he is scoring and playing for Palace.

    Player ratings vs Millwall

Millwall had let in 60 goals prior to this game - including the second most at home of any team in the division. We had two shots on goal - one a fortunate penalty - and 40 per cent possession. Very welcome win, but very poor performance. Kuszczak - 6 Bruno - 7 Upson - 7 Greer - 6 Ward - 6...

16 things we learnt after the win yesterday at Millwall

As informative and interesting as ever.

Reading (SAT) & QPR (TUES) at the Amex

Difficult given we often play better against teams who don't come to The Amex and just defend. However, given our scoring problems and QPR's decent defence I can't see us winning that one. Pessimistic but I am going for one draw and one defeat. Hope to be proved wrong.

    [Albion] Under Gus

I am pretty sure we wouldn't have only ended with 40 per cent possession against such a poor team under Poyet.

    Connor Wickham

Probably has very little to do with Gus Poyet to be honest. Once he has decided he does not require a player for his first team squad I imagine his bosses take over and try and secure the best possible financial loan deal which the player is happy with. Considering he had a spell at Sheffield...

The £36m i360 set to go ahead

Think there is a slight difference between a local authority seeing long-term sense in a project and a private company. Any private investor will be looking at the financial return of the i360 in isolation. A local authority may decide the investment is worth it when looked at in tandem with...

Major clear out in the summer.....

Was fit enough to lead the team in terms of assists last season. But agree, it has been frustrating not to see more of his this term. He is hardly alone in having a spell out though is he?

The £36m i360 set to go ahead

I genuinely don't know enough in-depth about the pros and cons of this scheme to have anything more than a passion opinion on it or its likely success. Was more trying to point out that it does not seem a case of the council funding this directly over improving leisure facilities. The initial...

The £36m i360 set to go ahead

It appears the i360 will be funded by money from central government. Getting multi-million pound investment in area of the city which needs it has to be a positive thing, doesn't it? Not a direct choice between building this or getting much-needed leisure facilities.

The £36m i360 set to go ahead

Difficult to tell. Would have thought Brighton already has more tourists than Portsmouth so potentially more people likely to visit the i360. Not sure it will attract people on its own to the city - but those who are already visiting will probably go on it. I think it is also encouraging to...

The £36m i360 set to go ahead

Agree completely about the need for better leisure facilities. But I think you might underestimate the number of people who will visit the new tower. Portsmouth's Spinnaker Tower had more than 600,000 visitors in its first year - although I don't know how that has been sustained or otherwise since.

The £36m i360 set to go ahead

Am fairly sure I remember general support from all parties for this scheme since it was first suggested - although I may be completely wrong on that front. It just seems Labour locally are prioritising disagreeing with the Greens and positioning themselves ahead of the next election ahead of...
