Someone I know who gets occasional bits of gossip reckons we are still after someone who is currently employed. Suggestion is we're waiting out a contract expiry. No idea who this would include or exclude, or even if it's true but that's my "scoop".
I see. Have you seen an osteopath? I went to see one because of right side neck pain and he almost immediately guessed (correctly) that I'd previously injured my left ankle. It turns out that ankle injury had changed how I walked and carried myself and has caused my neck problem. Gave me some...
If the Jeff Swelling comment is accurate, I can't help feel that McKenna had given us a pretty clear (but informal) indication he'd come. I wonder if all the bluster around Chelsea and United made him reconsider everything about his next step (whilst bagging himself a massive pay rise).
He's strong and is tidy enough on the ball most of the time. Sadly, however, he has the pace of an iceberg and turns slower than a cruise ship. If a good price can be achieved it might be best to move him on.
I don't want Potter back but regardless of this, the issue our next manager will have is the same one RDZ had this season.
In 22/23 we had an incredible squad and a midfield that was probably one of the best in the country. Unless we can find another Caicedo, Mac, Cucarella, Mwepu and Colwell...
Seems that Fonseca is already lined up for that one. I feel for RDZ as he's clearly brilliant, but David Ornstein recently implied that there may be a prevailing sentiment that he's quite difficult to work with. I wonder if this is putting off prospective owners who don't much fancy the hassle.
