I don't think the ref actually knew what to do. He certainly saw him remove the foam and for a moment looked as if he was going to go back and have a word. He then just carried on pacing out the 10 yards.

I think they were affected by gremlins. They didn't show substitutions, added time minutes or the attendance figure.

Believe it or not but several million people do allegedly read the Daily Mail. Thankfully they are greatly outnumbered by normal human beings.

Way Out West / Towed In A Hole is a great double bill. I find Blockheads hard to watch because Ollie was so overweight when it was made. They're still the greatest after all these years.

One complaint levelled against Poyet's team was that we didn't have a plan B - we've certainly got one now & his name is Bobby.

Bobby's goal will always live with me but Buckley's winner edges it .

For me the game with the strangest feel about it was the re-match with York. Watching a home game on a weekday morning in a near empty stadium felt really weird.

Full credit to him for working on his game and ironing out the errors which must have haunted him last season.

It'll always be among my top Albion moments. One to savour for years.
