High flying BHA (1st) entertain Preston (17th) to the Amex on Saturday. PNE will be buoyed by their 3-0 win at Charlton last night. This was only their second league win in the Championship this season. The other win was against MK Dons also away. Though there have only been 2 wins this campaign, only one game has ended up with more than one goal going against them. Head to head we have met only 29 times, with BHA winning a paltry 7 times. There have been 10 draws & 12 defeats. Our record against them has been very poor in recent years with a solitary win in 2004 in the past 8 meetings. Indded going back over the past 12 meetings, we have won 2 with 4 draws & 6 defeats. Surely this has to change? We have yet to meet at The Amex, until Saturday!

Here
BHA 3 - 2 Preston.

We seem to give up goals despite having never lost. Scoring went from being a problem to being the reason we are top of the table. Without Stockdale's excellence the Albion would have given up 2 goals to Bristol City. Again, I feel, Zamora will find a way to score the winning goal.

I'm sticking to the same prediction that has seen me completely absent from the leaderboard on here (nil points) while sending the Seagulls soaring to the top of the league.

This is the thirteenth time though......................

I remember Preston taking us apart at the Goldstone, 4-0, with Bobby Charlton running the show.

This game will be much, much tougher than some people realise. PNE are extremely frugal at the back and will be a tough side to break down, the longer it takes for that first goal to come the better for them. An early goal and I think we will run out comfortable winners but if they hold out up to half time and even nick a goal and we could be in for an uncomfortable afternoon.
