I was wondering who NSC thought was our player of the season so far. We're three months in, so a sizeable chunk of games to consider. The obvious contenders would seem to be:

Stockdale - Mr consistency so far
Bruno - Rolling back the years and MOTM again on Saturday
Bong - Already a big fans favourite and a huge improvement on Bennett
Stephens - Goals, creativity and forming a formidable partnership with...
Kayal - Pivotal in midfield. A lynchpin
Lua Lua - Was hugely influential prior to injury
Hemed - Top scorer but is his contribution as significant as others?
Someone else - Baldock, Bobby, Greer?

So, what are your thoughts? (Poll to follow)

Bruno, in the form of his (BHA) life

Hemed on list? I think we could be desperate for a replacement by January

Another vote for Bruno. The man exudes class!

If KLL had not been injured then it would probably have been him.

It's Stockdale

or Bruno

maybe Kayal

perhaps Kaz.

A la with my 'issues' with Stephens the fact that we have too many candidates for PotS is somewhat refreshing having voted for Mr Blackpool, Mr Millwall and Mr Wigan last year.

Bruno with Stockdale a few millimetres behind followed by Kayal and Stephens.

The thing I love about Bruno is when the ball is hoofed forward by the opposition defence you get such a feeling of relief when you see it is going towards Bruno as you know he will take the ball on his foot with perfect control and either head forward for play it forward to another player.

Bruno probably, although the two midfielders are the reason why we're top.

Bruno has been INCREDIBLE these last few weeks. (Bald) head and shoulders in class above the unfortunate plodders he's marked out of each game.

My vote would still go to King Kayal, though. I think sometimes people judge him a lttle harshly - against HIS best. Even if he dips a lttle against that, he's still generally the best player on the pitch. We are very lucky to have him. Absolutely brilliant midfielder.

Pretty much every match this season I've thought Bruno has shaded MOM, so has to be Bruno.

Also his beard gets more magnificent by the week.
