Wasn’t payment under our original Ticket Exchange scheme only via club shop vouchers?

[Albion] Brentford ST holders can't renew if they miss too many games

The exact phrase used on my ticket account is ‘Ticket Exchange is open for the below games:’ which includes Palace. When I phoned them up, they said all that meant was that I could list my seat but that the ticket exchange was not actually open yet. I like to think of myself as a reasonably...

[Albion] Brentford ST holders can't renew if they miss too many games

Actually it can be different even to that. I recently listed tickets for Palace (because I found some better ones) and didn’t see them on sale even though in my account it specifically said the exchange was open and I had ticked the relevant box. So I think there is even another category where...

[Albion] Brentford ST holders can't renew if they miss too many games

I think it’s fair enough. They could actually go a step further and automatically list your ticket unless you specifically click to say you are using it - that would be draconian for sure, but what they are suggesting seems reasonable. It would be nice to get to the stage in life where you have...

Is this one of those music quizzes? I think it’s the last line of the song that starts ‘Hark now hear the Brighton sing ….’

I had accommodation booked through Vrbo, all paid for at a great price. Then the owner contacted me to say her brother wanted it and was coming over from the US so sorry and here’s your money back. Vrbo don’t guarantee anything unless it’s within a month of the stay and just sent me a list or...

    [Travel] Spanish Trains - RENFE

Oh yes, the ones where if you want to sit in a window seat you either need shinguards for the metal bar or to sit at an angle. But fair point, they are new (I kind of got that anyway, I was being intentionally flippant ….)

Well exactly. That was my point. Lots of things are a faff to get to and arrange, but for something you really want to go to suddenly the ’faff’ becomes less of an issue!

    [Travel] Spanish Trains - RENFE

We get round that risk by never ordering new trains and sticking with the bone shakers from the 1970s ….. Actually I have used Spanish trains a fair bit, including this month. Generally they are very good and like most train services in the developed world seem to put ours to shame in most cases.

I think they keep some back before each window, but from my experience they do disappear before your eyes so I would say have a good idea of what you want and don’t ponder too much when the window opens as the ones you wanted will quickly disappear if they are at all popular! There is an 82...

I managed today to get some evening athletics which I was surprised to see available. They were cat C. However by the time I had got them, some others I was dithering on had gone and for the other 2 I got what I could which was beach volleyball by the Eiffel Tower and water polo. I guess...

Fascinating. I was only 12/13, we went on a two week tour around the place. It gave me a lifelong interest of all things DDR related!
