Red card suspensions are across all domestic competitions, yellow card suspensions for totting up of cards are competition specific.

So if any player gets sent off in the League Cup final they will miss Premier League games as a result.

It’s because a red card is considered a more serious offence and the punishment is immediate.
Is it the first time that a Pope has found himself with a day off on a Sunday?

Why did RR spend most of halftime talking about our match next Saturday at Newcastle, hoping all of us who travel have a safe journey?

When Fozzy was suspended for the Cup Final, was that for accumulated yellows then? I know they changed the rules after that.

I think they changed them fairly recently. I remember Dunk intentionally earning himself his 10th yellow at Fulham in 16/17 so that he’d get a 2 match suspension but only miss the 1 Championship match (which we lost against Lincoln).
