I didn't think I would much, with the time difference being what it is, thought I'd catch a few England games, but I have found myself being drawn in and watching quite a few games. And very splendid they have been too, lots of shocks, some great goals, unfancied teams playing very well, South...
I'm very relaxed about my priority allocation. I have priority to sit on my sofa in front of the telly with a beer in my hand and nothing more, and that will do just fine thank you very much
Steele did get injured, and after two months of quiet benchwarming Sanchez was picked and played two of the biggest games in our history, our first win at Stamford Bridge followed by the Cup semi final at Wembley. He excelled in both, a chance to re-establish himself you might say, but was...
Such a shame how its worked out with Sanchez, I firmly believe he was on a path to being one of the very best in the world and whilst being dropped once might have been good for him after a few mistakes, doing it twice had no reason to it other than to very publicly reject him. Contrary to all...
Yeah, like you I am pondering this one. The guy in the video is absolutely spot on when he says that it is an obvious move in a transfer negotiation, to either pretend or manufacture interest from elsewhere in an attempt to worry the buyer that they might lose out. And he's right, it IS an...
Always a laughable argument, one that gets written out so many times. There's a lot of young talent out there all around the world, and the ones who decide not to sign with an upwardly mobile club in the top half of the best and richest league in the world, with European football, brilliant...
He's priced high because we don't want to sell him. Sure, make us an offer we can't refuse and we won't refuse it, a la Cucurella, but otherwise, he's not for sale. When we DO want to sell, maybe when his contract is running down and we have his replacement ready to go, then we'll negotiate a...
In what sense is that offside? She was back in an onside position by the time the ball was headed to her by Hemp (even if it didn't touch the Chinese player first). Can't get my head round that.
Well the difference is that we don't have influence over those clubs. But i agree it's hard to see how that would be a material difference in the actual play of the game compared to loaning a player to a team in the same competition that you don't have ownership influence over.
I guess this is what the club means when they say they don't stand in a players way if he wants a move. Hard to keep a guy as squad depth when there's guaranteed minutes elsewhere, esp. back home. Feels a lot like the Burn transfer in that case.
If people are going to get that worked up over the dying minutes of a pre season friendly between two U21 lineups then god help us all when we struggle away at Sheffield or Burnley later this season.
Pedro arriving has pushed him one place down the pecking order and i guess he just wants to play. 5 minutes here and there must be frustrating when a year ago you were starting every game.
