I have never seen Brighton play at Wembley, so if we could get there I'd be very happy. Not even considered what could happen if we got there, would just like to even get to the point.
I'd accepted the appeal wouldn't succeed before the coach pulled away from the Riverside. The FA only overturns something like 0.4% of challenges, although those figures are from 2011-12 so may be a bit better now.
But of course it's everyone else's fault! They just wanted a nice, easy day out, everyone else is in the way of enjoying that which is, frankly, inconsiderate.
Believe Fergie actually banned all United players from wearing blades, which I agree with. I think there probably needs to be some decent research on the subject from an independent body on the subject, just to see how much more of a threat than regular studs, or if they're at the same level.
The goading inside the ground didn't really bother me, it was from youngsters and I sort of expected it (not just from Boro, all clubs have idiots, including Brighton). There was plenty of applause too though, and the away supporters coaches were applauded by all the Boro fans I could see bar...
Is it really "the gutless administrators" fault? Clubs vote on these rules, they have a hand in setting the punishment etc... It's not like the rules are just passed down from on high with no interference from the club. Additionally, the fines had to pass approval of the Premier League as well...
They were fined £7.6m, which is about right for their loss based on the rules published by Football League. Based on some quick spreadsheet work their fine is for a loss of ~£33.5m. Now, they actually lost £38.3m, but not all losses are factored into FFP calculations, so reducing the losses by...
The King and Queen is normally good for big games. Watched the away leg of Derby play-offs there and it good, which is amazing given the situation. Remember for the away leg of Palace it was so full of Albion fans that we couldn't even get in and ended up going to the Smugglers, which was...
If it's free to attend (or they require you buy beer or whatever) it's weird, but I can see the appeal. Party Passes at AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys, cost ~$30 according to Ticket Master.
This is genuinely a thing in the States at some NFL stadiums. Believe they're called "Party Passes", you get to watch the game at the stadium in a series of interconnected, standing only "decks". While I think you can see the game from some of them, they make a big selling point that you can...
Cool, that raises the cost of expansion even more then. And if you put the police box in the south stand you'd probably have to remove some of the hospitality up that end, which'd lose the club money in that regard.
Risk vs reward though isn't it? As there's not really good locations to move the police box or the screen you can only build back between those two points, plus to the right of the screen. How many seats is that? Maybe 100-150?
I tend to buy clothes for my mum for her birthday or Christmas in BHS. I used to look at jeans in there for myself, but they never had anything I liked for me so I stopped that. So I guess they get my money twice a year and that's about it.
