you cant dictate who you want, but you cant dictate who you DONT want - which rules out any local clubs or teams likely to come down here and cause trouble
oh christ, i forgot about lansbury
hopefully our "special relationship" with arsenal will allow us to get in another one of their gems that they've packed off down here in the past
they bought in simeon jackson from gillingham but dont know how much he actually plays, and a new goalkeeper as their number one from last season was only on loan
probably a couple of others as well - still, it bodes well for us presuming we get out of this league. especially when you filter in...
ive lumped on us to either draw or lose tonight
last time we had a shitter in the fa cup it took us over a month to recover from it, and if any of our fans recently-gained arrogance filters through to the team then they could turn up expecting a cake walk and end up very dissappointed as i...
as far as i can see, wimbledon were never going to get planning permission to achieve a decent stadium in their borough, so they had to move to do it in order to susatin the club at a football league level, affecting the former milton keynes city fc as somebody else, quite rightly pointed out...
thank christ we got planning permission for falmer and didnt have to go for a mike bamber style idea of moving to a stadium at gatwick - we'd have a hell of a lot of our fans boycotting it by the sounds of things
i presume then that by this token you also would boycott afc wimbledon for moving in and taking over the ground of a previously successful non-league side in kingstonian, thus possibly depriving the people of kingston upton thames the chance to have a league football team?
not forgetting of...
unfortunately, rules were made to be broken as it looks like west ham are going to do by moving onto orients manor
totally agree with the rest of what you say
i presume then that you are still campaigning against archer and bellotti all this time on? theres a difference between forgiving and excepting what has happened and that ten years on nothing can change that
archer and belotti tried to run a club out of business. the wimbledon board moved them...
wrexham, plymouth and orient still have something worth fighting for though. mk dons happened nearly a decade ago, and a couple of brighton fans not going to watch them isnt going change the fact that a new town with a reasonably successful team and an impressive (even if half finished) stadium...
i presume that all these morally right people will also be boycotting west ham if we happen to play them once they are in the olympic stadium for giving stratford a league team when they have no right to have one?
my uni house was haunted by a lovely chap who we presumed was a bloke called hobbsy who died in the first world war. he would often turn the electric off for no reason, bang up and down the stairs, knock things off shelves and generally make his presence known, particularly in the bathroom
anybody who is seriously considering boycotting this needs to get a grip - afc wimbledon are far from perfect themselves y'know, and all this bollocks about them being a model club gets right on my wick
