netherlands 11/4 with skybet - england 1/4
cheeky couple of quid going on the men in orange to make me feel a little better should we fall to yet another world cup shock
i liked the one last year that involved something along the lines of "poyet will be gone by boxing day"
could never work out if that was a joke or not, but for his sake i bloody hope it was
its EXACTLY the same with all england teams, be it football, cricket or rugby - a couple of wins and we can win the world cup and are the best in the world. a couple of defeats and the team isnt good enough, the system is broken and we are going to be stuck being shit for years
we're the best team outside the top four in the premiership, and having been so unlucky to lose against a stoke team who dont play football and are quite clearly shit, i cant see anything less than an 11-0 victory, which may finally make the premier league wake up and realise we should just skip...
from the couple of times ive met tony bloom, he seems far far too modest to want anything named after him. unlike dick knight, who i imagine would love to have the entire thing in his honour
the cricket world cup is wank - especially when you throw in the fact the icc have admitted they've designed it with the hopes that india and sri lanka get to the final in order to milk the cash cow for much as possible
i do find it ironic that people are complaining about pulis being disrespectful with his performance towards the officials, when poyet will almost certainly always come out and have a go at them after the game, sometimes even when we've won
best to ignore that though for the sake of argument i...
far more so due to the fact i couldnt remember much of the game - which was a blessing in disguise!
does not mean i LOSE points as i was there in body but not mind?
definitely a bad fan
id go as far to say as you could go to EVERY away game thus far this season and choose not to go to stoke, and it would make you not worthy of being a brighton fan compared to those who have only been to watford, stoke and southampton
i was in there on saturday night watching the barca game and they had it on two large tellys on either wall. there is a third on the other wall which was showing sky sports news, so if they bought that into play then you'd be covered from all angles
i really liked split. decent old town where you can just wander about for ages, good and relatively cheap bars and one complex by the sea that had a decent enough night club. the beach was nice, the scenery was good and the ferry out to the island for a bit of an explore is a must
met my future...
