No, they were singing "its just like watching west brom..."

 Fair enough. Sounded like Brazil to me, but then that's probably just what I wanted to think they were singing (even if they were taking the piss!)

Meopham, Kent.
I liked the way the "you're avin' a laff" chant descended from,
"Premiership you're avin' a laff"
to
"Football League you're avin' a laff"
to finally,
"Football Team you're avin' a laff"

At that, yes, I did laugh.

I loved the shouts of OLE at their passing towards the end of the game particularly when we were out singing their own attempts at it!

Interesting that we shall be rattling about in our stadium with 10,000.

Their stadium open in '97 (capacity of 28,000) and they didn't average over 17,000 until they reached the Premier League.

England historical attendance and performance

Yes but that was when many Stoke fans were boycotting going because of the board and the Icelandic owners.

That changed when they got promotion

Yes it was a bit regimented. One of the local coppers did make me laugh, "don't worry the buses will be getting you away from this shit hole soon."

The coppers seemed to be pretty decent lads. With the size of the police escort to the ground,I thought the US president was on the bus!!

Shame about the pricks behind us trying to sing 'town full of inbreds' and 'we'll see you all outside'. f*** me, they must have been about 17, and their spots were offending me too.

Sounds like the bunch of our inbreds around us in Block 38, rows 11 and 12.

Probably pissed off at being charged £20 a head to get in.

Cost one youngster at least £120 because of his acne ridden face.

My first visit to the Britannia yesterday, seemed like a thoroughly decent bunch of fans tbh - fair few of their own younger lot giving it the biggun down to our left who had something wrong with their wrists :lolol:

Didn't understand the coppers setting up for human pinball outside either

Also I don't understand building a ground with one solitary corner filled in?
