Dirty L**ds only managed 25 points from their last 18 games. If we were to choke in a similar fashion we'd finish on about 83 points I reckon.

apart from Crofts does anyone know how much Norwich strengthened last summer? Same for Leeds?

they bought in simeon jackson from gillingham but dont know how much he actually plays, and a new goalkeeper as their number one from last season was only on loan

probably a couple of others as well - still, it bodes well for us presuming we get out of this league. especially when you filter in that the leeds united have a good shout at the play offs as well, and millwall were floating about just underneath them until recently

They signed Aaron Wilbraham in January from MK, not sure why as he's awful, but doubt he cost a fortune. They did spend over £1 million on Andrew Surman though, and got Lansbury in on loan.

On paper, that squad is a lot better than ours.

oh christ, i forgot about lansbury

hopefully our "special relationship" with arsenal will allow us to get in another one of their gems that they've packed off down here in the past

Another O'ceirrull, Barrett, or Hoyte would be lovely in the Championship

But most clubs in that league, apart from the Barnsleys and Scunthorpes seem to get a few decent loanees each season. Can see us having a decent budget IF we do go up, not necessarily that of Norwich's though. Still, Milwall are still in with a shot at the play-offs, and their squad wasn't great last year.

FRUIT OF THE BLOOM
Leeds and Norwich are big big clubs though even with the Amex and 22k in each week they are still a step ahead of us at present i believe, so a comparison isnt quite accurate in my opinion, although it does give an indication we might do ok.

Still lets get up first eh !

They brought quite a lot in, the ones others have mentioned, plus Fox, Barnett, Tierney and they bought loads in January like McNamee, Whitbread.

No real outstanding players in there, but completely revamped their midfield, Hoolahan aside, and strengthened back four and replaced Forster in goal.

Leeds didnt really seem to do much? Paynters been a massive flop, Schmiechals been good in goal, cant remember if Bruce was signed last year or before.

You reckon. I know for a FACT, that if we get 25 points from our last 18 games, we'll finish on 81 points...
