I certainly agree on the 11/12 shirt. I had that one in mind as the challenger. 17/18- not for me.
I don't buy them anyway. So I guess my opinion is pretty redundant.
The 78/79 Bukta is still king for me.
I think you'd be best doing some research. David Lammy is a talented lawyer and more Conservative culturally than many on the other side of the house. He was a very good choice for Foreign Secretary.
Lampard would probably be a very good choice. Didn't do great as a day to day league manager but preferred an attacking set up that would suit this England team. I'd be happy with him. Folk are thinking about international managers the wrong way. I think he'd have the full likeability score with...
With Euro 2028 being held over five nations, I wonder how automatic qualification works.
The only solution I can think of is that all the home nations go into qualifying and of those that don't make it the best two performers go through.
That's true sometimes. Fuente is an example. Had a Southgate style journey. 50% is player respect. Which Southgate was the best at. No reason why England cannot promote from within. But it does need someone more attack orientated with those players.
International managers don't really coach...
Kane is far from selfish and one criticism is that he spends too much time defending and dropping deep.
England do need a change though. Unless a new manager can use him properly in a more attacking set up.
