Ah, also brought back memories of The Crabtree pub at weekends when I was at Boundstone 6th Form. Pub wasn't brilliant (but none in Lancing were; all pretty rough), but The Crabtree didn't mind that we were under 18 :drink:
Two wins this season suggests that it is very rarely 'our day', and I really don't know how or when this is going to change: our attacks fizzle out (as we play one pass or touch too many on the edge of the opponent's penalty area), our strikers seem to have lost the potential they showed last...
Along with the optimism that many of us had when the season started, that this season would see us aiming towards lower mid-table consolidation, and that our possession-based football would start producing more wins.
Indeed, which is why I was shocked by NSC posters in the autumn who were excusing our poor form by complacently claiming "There's a long way to go yet. We've plenty of time to turn things around. We're playing well, so the wins will come soon. Shut-up you bed-wetters and keep the faith. We'll...
We've done much better than I expected overall; such a shame we couldn't keep it to 0-0 right up until half-time.
I really thought Citeh would be 3-0 up after 45 minutes.
What about those who can afford their kids when they start a family, but are later made redundant (increasing numbers of jobs are being lost due to automation)?

I certainly will :bigwave:
Even if he wasn't clueless and hopelessly out of his depth, and our 'attacks' weren't toothless and mostly ineffective, I'd have written off tonight as a 4-0 or 5-0 thumping.
If we can keep it down to a 3-0 defeat, that'll be quite an achievement; I've already predicted 5-0 to Citeh, and that was before we knew how many players would be unavailable due to injury, suspension or illness.
Possible Beast from the East scenario developing for middle/late next week :O

An absolute spanking coming up: 5-0 to Man City, followed by another "we'll take the positives and learn the lessons" post-match interview from the clueless out-of-his-depth but nice-guy GP.
So much ignorant Right-wing BS in your post, it's hard to know where to start in responding.
So we heard nothing about the Antifa violence over the summer? Odd, because it was on the news all the time, along with Trump's denunciations and demands that they be given mandatory 10-year sentences...
