You’d think even the Porter out brigade would give GP a break if we lose tonight.

Yes, especially if we keep them down to single figures.

Lucky you! My wife normally says something along the lines of “how can you keep watching your team get beaten, I can’t listen to any more of your ranting, I’m off to watch George Gently (or similar ilk in bed) try not to come to bed all angry “

I took my wife to her first game in 1989. Lost 5-4 away at Sheffield Utd. Great intro to the wacky world of supporting the Albion so she is used to it by now

What time does the first 'Potter out' post appear on the thread (haven't checked actually, probably there already because his press conference was a bit dull or something) ?

I will, as ever, try not to, but there's a chance something will come up (maybe some weird commentary that needs to be mocked/questioned) that compels me to post.

My wife's favourite stupid football comment, is to wait until about 10 minutes in and say "no goals, how boring" irrespective of whether the match has got off to a flyer.

The only game I ever took her to was Southampton away, where we won 3-1. Seats behind the goal, thrilling away victory, terrific goals, a 90 minute wall of noise. She just deleted texts for the whole game. If I wasn't blatantly a no 9 batsman batting at 3, i'd have ditched there and then

I tend to only dip in if one of our players does something ridiculous

To be fair if we win or draw I will be on here praising Potter, we need to start picking up points.

This is tough tonight, but just maybe he might pull something out of the bag, they are beatable!

No you wont, you'll slag him off regardless of the score. You'll find something to pick on...

I usually post my views on the game when the ball goes out of play or play stops for whatever reason. I guess it's like being at a game, exchanging views with fellow supporters, it's sometimes interesting to hear different views on the same game and possibly things you've missed.

I certainly will :bigwave:

Even if he wasn't clueless and hopelessly out of his depth, and our 'attacks' weren't toothless and mostly ineffective, I'd have written off tonight as a 4-0 or 5-0 thumping.

I don’t do it much but am avoiding like the plague atm.

Frankly if you believed the Potter out brigade then we’d be nailed on for a six nil defeat with a full strength team (players not playing for him or understanding their jobs) so with five regulars unavailable id expect they believe it will be 9-0 tonight?

Personally I’m expecting a 4-2 loss.

We are hardly likely to score 2, even if we played both the hobbits, Stan and the Lion of Judah.
