Trossard is our performance barometer. When he raises his game, even if it’s part of a game, our performance and chances of winning improves. Unfortunately, the opposite is also true as per yesterday. His role is key, providing the creativity in the final third. Great to hear he could be...
I just think that when you continue on an upward trajectory, as Albion are, there are players who continue to keep up and those that don’t. Our EPL teams since promotion from the Championship show that. I’ve no idea which category Maupay fits in other than he’s got a tough job on his hands to...
I do struggle a bit with transfer fees and wage structure. You could pay (and keep possibly) a current player an extra 100k a week for 3 years which would be equivalent of buying some one in on a £15m signing (possibly of lesser quality and you’d need to pay their wages on top). The player...
Isn’t Knockhaert more comparable to a Trossard than a Solly. These are the real creatives in the team. Frustrating and ‘edge of the seat’ talent in equal measure. Even yesterday I was shaking my head at some of Trossard’s play but you know a moment of magic isn’t too far away.
More of a collective 7 for me as City were well up for it and on their game. It would have needed a big step up in performance to get anything out of the game.
All good, thanks. Left ON the final whistle. Pegged it to Northumberland Park. 2.45pm to Liverpool Street. Bus 47 to London Bridge. 3.35pm to Horsham arriving 4.30pm TWO HOURS after the match finished. Slick and hard working just like our team.
I need to get back pronto on Saturday due to an evening commitment and I’m not leaving early! White Hart Lane Stadium is surrounded by stations. Some of I hadn’t even heard eg Silver Street. Some no doubt busier than others? Conscious we’ll be exiting from north of stadium. Any hints/tips...
One of our most infuriating players as he is potentially our best. When he really has the bit between his teeth he’s next to unplayable. He was right on it playing in front of us in the 2nd half. Brilliant combination of skill and determination. Big game player.
