I think I would miss seeing ‘top of the tree’ players. Sure, they cancel each other out a lot of the time but the quality moments are worth it. It was against us and he’s not on form but the way Mo Salah breezed through Bissouma in front of the North West stand recently was something to behold.
I think it’s a slow squeeze as you can probably expect a couple of promoted teams to go straight back down but you never know (I think the year we came up all the promoted sides stayed up). Some teams below us this year won’t be below us next year - Newcastle, Everton. Just hope we are...
He’s got a brand, a style of play. Opposition managers know it and counter it. He persists because it’s his brand even though it’s not working. He won’t change. He doesn’t have the players to make a sustained effort in the EPL using this style. Tony Bloom doesn’t match the required player...
Good to see top quality players live, unfortunately, they’re not wearing blue. One game closer to getting a Murray replacement or being in the Championship where we can compete.
Quite looking forward to it. Buying away tickets this morning must have got me in the mood. The ironic thing is that some of our big players, despite playing s**t, will get picked because we need a result after so many defeats.
Yeh, you’re right. Second to Man Utd in 74 rather than close to Man Utd would some up my feelings better. Everton going down would be a real shock for the footballing world and particularly for their North West/ North East Wales fan base.
I’d give Maupay an 8 as a midfielder. Our ‘to be’ out of contract players are fizzling out with below average performances. GP needs to bring in players with a bit of hunger.
Any hints or tips why the experience of using an iPhone on NSC is so much worse than my iPad. Both are up to date on operating system and modern models. The number of times I go to NSC on my iPhone and I get blank pages is really annoying. I get asked for consent continually. None of this...
Solid 7. We’ve boxed above our weight for most of the season, now tiring and taking a few big punches to the midriff. Hope we can reenergise and throw a few back.
We departed for the beach at half time from Manchester. Alzate should have had more air time - he’s naturally a progressive player. GP’s biggest challenge is unsticking us out of the front third - it’s painful to watch.
