I am overnighting on the mall as I did for queen's platinum jubilee, a shingle has been at every coronation since Henry II in 1154 and I've no intention of letting the side down.
Plus I'm a photographer so will be photographing a rare event. Expect pics to be posted on here a short time after...
True ...... but unlikely though, 40 years travelling the globe would have given us an edge. Looking at this years participants Monique and Ladi would have given us a run for our money, the others ... pfft. Still, there's always the next series, I'd love to do it.
I applied to go this years series and had an email back expressing interest, Mrs Shingle bottled it unfortunately before it went any further, 'didnt want to be on telly'.
I was there on the 1st of April too. Im 63 and when i went four years ago my reading was 1.32. this time its 2.10 up 59%, but still green, so now, because of the increase they recommend that I have a two year follow up. I would like to say a big thank you to the chap on here who told people...
Same here, wont be taking any during game as too involved but as you say, before and after crowd scenes, which I too enjoy. I'll be taking my little point and shoot Fuji with fixed 35mm lens, whole thing fits in pocket.
9.46 outta Lewes, straight to London Bridge for Brekkie somewhere in Borough Market or nearby. On to Marylebone and Globe Pub early lunch time then to Wembley. I'm a photographer so will be taking loads of pics on the day, if you see me...be nice :geek:

The Isle of Skye is my recommendation. We used to go twice a year when the children were at school, the drive from either Inverness or Fort William is spectacular.
As for Skye, my favourite place is Elgol, 15 miles down a single track road from Broadford, the views of the Cuillens from here...
