    [Football] Newcastle Fans

I knew it would be a good atmosphere at the first 'Albion' after they introduced Fati and Baleba. It tends to stay good really if it happens early. It's almost like we wanted them to be impressed. You can tell when it's going to be good because you get that sound like it's rolling round the...

[Albion] "It’s like the old Billy Gilmour we’ve got back."

Obviously he's not at that level yet but Modric is a good shout in comparison for style of play and use of the ball.

    [Albion] Van Hecke or Webster?

I don't like to pick preferences as they all have their ups and downs but van hecke was excellent today.. the best and most confident I've seen on the ball.

    [Albion] Veltman v Lamptey

I know it's the wrong person for this thread but my favourite moment was Gilmour putting on the afterburners closing down a clearance and beating two of their big grocks to a header.

Really? I thought there wasn't many of them and they were mostly quiet. Choosing to do their 'get on Motd' bit for the last 10 minutes with that monotonous drone. Individually when I speak to them walking away from the stadium they always seem sound.

[Albion] -Head to head- Ajax and Brighton discussion

I know! That's why I contorted my question so much to try and make it sound as reasonable as possible. "Erm. If erm there's like a sort of erm neutral section, would erm, that sort of be alright? In a way."

[Albion] -Head to head- Ajax and Brighton discussion

Hello mate. Quick question that I think may have already been asked. Are there likely to be any home tickets gettable for this tie and are there any areas where that might be OK without getting your head kicked in. I appreciate the immediate answer may he no but I was talking to a mate of mine...

[Albion] Rate the window out of 10

7 for me. Some exciting acquisitions but looking nervously at that gap where Caicedo was and dont understand our thinking around fullbacks at all.

Does anyone know when the hone / away legs get announced?

    [Albion] Conor Gallagher ?

He'll be on silly wages for an average player and as someone else has rightly said; We just can't tolerate that haircut.

Whoah what? Steve9kso1tv is on the case.

[Albion] No criticism of RDZ ?

When you look at the stats it's hard to be over critical. Totally dominated the game and had a shedload of chances. If you don't take any if them and make defensive mistakes and your opposition are clinical you lose. It was one big game of brinkmanship. Us holding the possession but being...

    [Albion] 2 signings now needed?

I'd say we need 2 in CM alone. Not sure one 19 year old is going to do it. Ayaris gone and Dahoud left on the bench yesterday.

[Albion] Brighton & Hove Albion vs West Ham United *** Official Match Thread ***

Yes easy to say with hindsight but a few things felt a bit iffy. Not sure changing the keeper on this game was needed. There's nothing wrong with Milners solidity but the lack of legs combined with that midfield was jarring. Taking Gilmour off. I thought he'd been our second best player up to...

[Albion] Carlos Baleba SINGS a 5-year deal

Either Gross to right back or one of Wellbeck or Ferguson and have Gross, Gilmour and Baleba in MF.

    [Albion] Van Hecke or Webster?

That vulnerability (even prior to milner) was hugely covered by the legs and tackling of Caicedo and Mac to an extent.

[Albion] Carlos Baleba SINGS a 5-year deal

I suspect they want to draw in other offers and drive the price up. We want it down quick before Chelsea or Liverpool get involved

No. Screw everyone that leaves. Seriously. Balls to them.

[Albion] Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Brighton & Hove Albion *** Official Match Thread ***

Decent half. Definitely need some legs in midfield . Gross and Gilmour both great but similar in pace and style. Especially with Milner there and missing Caicedos legs it means we are a bit more cautious about getting forward and moving more quickly. Can't complain as we won our first game...
