I think some forget we were very lucky with injuries last season, so you have to have cover. We now have four wingers, four CM’s, four strikers etc and therefore will should expect to see more rotation this season.
With a mate we decided to pick a Scottish team each when we were kids - he chose Queen of the South & I chose Cowdenbeath. They used to regularly play each other in those days although QoS won most of the time annoyingly!
Good idea but then the women’s semi’s only lasted 3 hours so they’d have problems filling the rest of the day! BTW I’m lost with this equality thing when the women play for 3 hours and the men play for 10+ hours but both get the same pay? I’d love a job on full pay when only working a third of...
But other majors play well into the small hours. The US Open even has evening sessions! In all truth it’s very rare (other than rain) that Wimbledon would continue so late so for the sake of one night in the year, surely the authorities could see sense?
I always thought before the tournament started our weakness was the defence and I think Croatia highlighted that! I do think though we need a World Cup in England.
That’s silly. Maty Ryan could get injured at any time (touch wood) and one of the back up keepers would have to play. I don’t think the club would sign any player if they didn’t think they were good enough.
I think they need to stop giving stop/go penalties for those at fault for collisions and give grid penalties say 3/4 places. The last two races have seen Ferrari gain way too much for forcing Mercedes off the track and I don’t think it will discourage them from doing it in future races! Maybe...
