Wasn't it only recently that he said that he's big regret was not joining the IRA in the seventies. No tears shed in chez shingle i'm afraid. Fairytale of New York great song though.
aaahh, loved this back in 1980. I was at Brighton Art College doing a foundation course in Art and Design at the time and M&TM came to the Top Rank and I managed to blag my first photographers pass. Christ, it seems a lifetime ago but I loved the end of the 70's and beginning of 80's.
There's no sugar coating this one I'm afraid, for 'liberal' Holland to lurch to the 'far right' something is happening over there, as it is all over Europe.
Don't forget that it wasn't that long ago that Geert Wilders was banned from entering the Uk, and he might soon be visiting here as Dutch...
I have selfish reasons for not wanting this wally anywhere near power and that is his plan to ditch the peso in favour of the us dollar.
Recently my son was very kind enough to give the ageing Mr and Mrs Shingle his air miles and we are going back packing around Argentina for 6 weeks in...
Yes I take a few pics most years, especially if Im asked to, but to be honest I prefer to stay in these days. I'm a fellow Brightonian who moved out here 38 years ago as Mrs Shingle is a Lewesian and I hear what your saying albeit tongue in cheek about the Bonfire Societies saying they prefer...

Because Israel has said that it doesn't care what you and I have to say. The only people that might change things are the Americans and even they will have a hard job.
I'm not telling people what they should or shouldn't do  I'm just saying that they're probably not going to make much of a difference, that's all !!
No need to get all sanctimonious with me, you've been quite sensible up to now with your posts particularly on the other thread.
Will more than likely give the main march a miss, too much of a bun fight for me, there's always the Lord Mayors show
Never a truer word spoke, as the NSC echo...
