He looks a good player but may be you have to be a very good player to get in our team.

[News] Roll Up! Roll Up! Anyone Else Want To Go On Strike?

You have to have a well tuned antenna these days when planning trips, holidays etc. Personally, holding back on a lot of things but more willing to use more costly taxi’s than rail. Definitely an undercurrent to give the Tories a bleeding nose

[News] Braking news - more train strikes over the Christmas period announced

Similar here. I’ve sacrificed away games this season and will continue to do so due to rail dispute with no hard feelings to striking rail workers. There are plenty of options to improve the industry on so many levels - needs a total rethink.

    [Albion] Undav

I’m sure RDB is well down the road to assessing how well individuals in the squad match up to his requirements. From what I’ve seen good technical ability at pace is a must have. Fortunately, with a few exceptions, most of our players tick this box.

    [Football] England V Wales

England have enough flow of talent that they can evolve. Wales don’t and will have to rebuild patiently. The good thing for England is Rashford is back on it and the ‘squad’ players are coming to the fore. Callum Wilson was very impressive.

    [Misc] Retirement

Thanks and shows importance of good advice. In my scenario, it wouldn’t involve paying equity released income in to a pension. It would purely complement the pension I’d already been receiving (and, at that point, would not paying in to a pension)

    [Misc] Retirement

Equity release is definitely a consideration in my retirement thinking. The devils in the detail, of course, and tbh I haven’t looked in to it in detail. It appeals in principle. I‘d want an annual top up to my core pension rather than a lump sum. There is a draw down option but not sure on...

[Football] The Non-League Football Thread- 2022/23 Edition

Watched the Wrexham v Farnborough cup game live on SC4. The 4-1 score line doesn’t really reflect the Hampshire sides performance. The game was in the balance until Wrexham pulled away with 3 late goals.

[Football] World Cup - Day Six

Timing is everything for a nation like Wales where the flow of quality players is limited. A WC happens every 4 years. Players can peak and trough in between. Calling Ed Turns. #FeelingSad

[News] Braking news - Donatello in trouble

Businesses are struggling to recruit legally so doesn’t surprise me.

[Football] No one interested in Wales v USA?

Kieffer Moore made a big difference 2nd half. He’s a better all round player from when I last saw him. The pacy lads upfront in the first half just couldn’t get on the ball. Good half time substitution

[Football] Who’s not watching the World Cup?

A gun toting nation and wouldn’t want to call on the US health service as a poor man with a bullet in the back. I won’t be watching…..anything.

[Drinking] Does beer improve your matchday experience?

Not at home games. Yes at away games (but attending a lot less this season). Yes at NLF

It’s been my fall back to get customer services of large organisations to get their backsides in gear. A well crafted tweet always seems to do the trick.

[Albion] Can Trossard now be considered world class?

Will he even get in the Belgian first 11? Probably not cause there are players who can be considered world class.
