[Albion] Europa League quarter final, semi final draw

If that had of been us and not Roma, would've been another really tough opponent. A few teams had the odd easier tie, we had none.

[Albion] Europa League quarter final, semi final draw

I'm not sure how these points are awarded?, but just looked at the UEFA country coefficients https://www.uefa.com/nationalassociations/uefarankings/country/#/yr/2024 And whislt we are currently third in 23/24 with 15250 points, and Italy first with 17000 They have no teams in the CL left (I...

[Albion] Surely we must have some decent free kick takers in this squad?

I have wondered sort of similar. Have we become so deeply ingrained in De Zerbi ball, we've lost ability to "mix it up" as you say. our competitors understand our patterns better and its not as difficult to counter as it once was. We've lost a lot of the surprise. Elements of Poyet now too...

[Albion] Europa League quarter final, semi final draw

EL is looking a real tall order. Can only hope. Would be happy enough with conference, but EL is the best level for us imho We'd get done easily in the CL, EL is competitive and a really good challenge. I'd imagine in the conference there may be a few more games we'd be expected to win, where...

[Albion] Europa League quarter final, semi final draw

Good point actually.. isn't it potentially Man City v Arsenal SF if they get through their QFs? Not sure how far behind we are on this coefficient thing? Maybe it's good that AC Milan meet Roma and Atalanta v Liverpool?

[Albion] Europa League quarter final, semi final draw

Not exactly, they had to play an additional 2 round of 32 games and beat Shakhtar Donetsk, then had to beat Villareal over 2 legs.

[Albion] Mohammed Kudus **Signed For West Ham 27/08**

If you haven't yet watched the highlights of West Ham beating Freiberg last night. This is what we missed out on, scored 2 brilliant goals (4th and 5th) and the 4th goal is one of goals of season. Great run and finish Got to somehow get these key signings over the line :(

[Albion] Europa League quarter final, semi final draw

Draw up now on TNT 1, just been watching the re runs from last night and the iconic EL theme makes me sad we're not in it.

Enciso, Facu or Barco? Its getting a bit gratuitous with Dunk now.

[Albion] Europa League campaign 23/24 - what was your highlight?

Away, the Marseille fans is noisiest, craziest thing I've ever witnessed. I thought AEK at the Amex were better, and as our first ever European game it was a eye opener. A "wow, I've never never seen away fans like this" moment.

[Albion] Gut feeling - RDZ staying or going after this season?

I voted stay, but there are many variables and nobody knows if a bigger club does move for him. Its no secret he's been a bit unhappy with losing top players and lack of business in January etc he clearly wanted to drive the club onto the next level. So my hunch is, he is waiting to see what...

[Albion] Positives from Roma game tonight.

More shots and more crosses needed last night. Our crosses looked dangerous, we scored from a long shot.

[Football] England squad announcement - Lewis Dunk RECALLED!

He has done well in the environment he's created and he's a genuinely nice and respectful guy. We may have got closer to a win than ever, but a lot of that is down to nothing much more than favourable draws. In 2018 we got to a semi with a gift of a draw, we beat the teams on paper in our...

    [Albion] Assault in away end

Good that a court has banned him from all football foe 3 years. Does the club have the remit to go further with Albion/Amex attendance? And might they do so?
