    [Music] Albums of the year

It's such an incredible album. Heavy, melodic and emotional as f***. The singer described it as an album that you can cry to while listening to. Also one of the most impressive vocalists around at the moment.

[Politics] The Sun - nurses ?

The people turning on those who are striking haven't actually looked into why they're striking. I've heard a lot about the rail strikes and how driver's earn £x amount a year when it's not the drivers who are striking, it's the rest of staff.

[Politics] The Sun - nurses ?

The biggest issue with the NHS is starting. Many nurses see they can go elsewhere and get the same pay without the horrific working conditions and trauma they might deal with. If we actually taxed the wealthy enough we might be able to keep a functioning NHS. Look at the Scandinavian...

[Politics] The Sun - nurses ?

It's absolutely the Tories fault. They blocked pay rise talks with the union because they don't want a compromise, they want an excuse to privatise the NHS.

[Albion] Alexis Mac Allister - *** New Contract Until 2025 ***

To stats reply Argentines would say anulo mufa. A counter jinx they've been using that seems to be working so far.

    [Albion] Undav

The fact he's getting in the right positions and looks to shoot is promising for me as he's more of an out and out striker than anything we have.

[Albion] Ken Valder RIP - Memorial Collection for AITC

I worked with him on the Here to Help team for a number of years. Absolutely lovely guy who was so passionate about the club and so welcoming. I was put with him on my first shift and he was so helpful and kind, you could see he knew lots of the fans who attended and would always come over for...

Not true. Locadia started with 2 goals in 2 games

[Albion] Aaron Connolly - joining Hull permanently

Players can be sent on domestic loans at 17, but can only be loaned abroad at 18.

    [Albion] Billy Gilmour

Mac Allister wasn't on loan because of talent though, he was on loan because he couldn't get a work permit.

[Albion] Moises Caicedo - New contract signed until summer 2027 with 1 year extra option.

To be fair I can understand why they're complaining, the Italian rules on non EU players are extremely strict. You can only sign 1 new non EU player a year but can sign another if you sell a non EU player you already have.

[Football] World Cup - Day Nine

I wouldn't call it pointless. The ball clearly hit his hand so there's a decision to make there.

[Misc] Black Friday - what are you hoping to get for an absolute bargain

A couple years ago Amazon did 40% off any warehouse purchase. I got a pair of £300 headphones for £100 after discounts and their only defect was one button not working that doesn't really matter.

    [Music] The Live Music thread

Haven't been to too many this year. Ghost in April was amazing. This shot was from the last one, Oceans Ate Alaska in The Joiners in Southampton, tiny venue that was a constant mosh put the whole set. Got Electric Callboy at Chalk next week which will be good fun and then it's February for...

[Music] What's the best song you have heard today? Share it here.

Chris Turner has to be one of my favourite drummers, absolutely ridiculous power and consistency but doesn't sacrifice grooves whilst doing it.

    [Music] Albums of the year

The new Lamb of God album is also absolutely massive. There's a real lack of anything heavy on the Rough Trade list.

    [Music] Albums of the year

Yeah the only one for me that would appear in my top albums list is Kendrick Lamar. Not sure about anything other than my top 2 which would be Lorna Shore - Pain Remains and Oceans Ate Alaska - Disparity. Two crushingly heavy albums but the Lorna Shore record is full of emotion and an...

[Misc] Eco protestors now vandalising works of art

You're talking about one instance of extreme weather as if that is what climate change is. Climate change leads to worse, more frequent extreme weather events.

    [Travel] Mill Road P&R Chaos

Because a bus transports dozens of people by itself, a train hundreds of people. To get the same amount of people there by driving results in far more carbon emissions than using a hybrid bus or the trains. Busses and trains are far less polluting than transporting that many people by car.

[Albion] The Legend that is Lewis Dunk, does he still support Chelsea ?

Remember stuffing them a few times. Easy clean sheet for me.
