Although we knew it could happen, it's such a shame that you can't attend a football match without the possibility of this sort of thing happening. Hope the OP makes it to the game and not too much was stolen from him.
However, I think that Chelsea can't have another bad season and (thankfully) I keep being wrong.
Theoretically you can't keep selling your best players and hope to get cheap replacements, but it does seem to be working.
Live, Wendy May was an excellent DJ (my still be) at The Locomotion at the Town & Country Club back in the 80s.
On the radio, Gary Crowley and John Peel both played a lot of music I could relate to and Crowley was also decent live too. Peel may have been too but I never saw him.
I thought the reason why Potter isn't interested in taking on a new job is that he's still being paid so handsomely by Chelsea, which could end if he takes another job?
All fans can do is trust that their owners are playing within the rules. I would like to think that I would accept any punishments if the club are found to have cheated without any whataboutary or whining about how it's not the fans fault (it's not, but tough).
Off to Saudi perhaps, or back to Chelsea. I'd love him to go to Newcastle but can't see it. He apparently took a large pay cut to go to Roma but is still on a large enough wage to put most clubs off.
