Where are YOU watching the big game on Saturday?

At home. I'm a big wuss. If I go down the Turks Head for a game kicking off that late I'll be so blootered Sunday will be a complete right off.

    East Sritling FC

Steve, if my memory isn't too wonky. Think he played for Lewes at one time, too.

[Sussex] What should Sussaxons be proud of?

Quite possibly. My Mum is always using the word 'pugy' to describe the clayey soil in her Ringmer back garden so I've grown up using the word too. Hadn't realised it was 'Sussex' but its a good word just describes that squelchy experience you get when trying to walk across it very well.

    Sussex Country Pubs

Classic old fashioned country pub with unspoilt interior. When I used to go there regularly the only grub available was the jars of cheese biscuits and pickled eggs on the counter!

You might be muddling the Anchor up with the Anglers Rest at Barcombe Mills which, sadly, did close many years ago. I haven't been to The Anchor for many years. It has had a bad press in some other forums, but whether or not that's justified I can't say.

[Sussex] What should Sussaxons be proud of?

I'm sure I read somewhere that it was the last part of England to convert to Christianity from ye olde pagan beliefs. Shame we couldn't have held out for longer!

I'll nominate two. The Cricketers, Berwick and The New Inn, Hadlow Down.

Hyypia Has Accepted The Brighton Job...

I hope you are right but a year ago everyone was expecting lots of loan signings from Barca. And what happened? We got Leroy Lita from Swansea reserves; and John Obika from Tottenham via Charlton reserves!

Christian Purslow: Greed is very prevalent in football

Greed is very prevalent in football. Catholicism is very prevalent in the Vatican City. Faeces is often found in woods inhabited by bears.

OK, fair enough Bozza, but does your source have any information on when??

I'm AFRAID I've got some BAD news for EVERYONE

Any fule would think you are related to Nigel Molesworth.

    Tony Mowbray

Although the team would presumably be less cosmopolitan than we are used to, and Ilie Dimitrescu, Dinamo Constanza's exciting No 9 shirt will no longer be the subject of in depth research by David Burke's research team

    Dennis Wise - dark horse

Well, it might shut Ernest up for a while, because he's English. But that's about the only positive.

Is NSC really slow for you?

No problem on either my Google Nexus 5 or my cranky old grid PC running XP

Jessie Lindgard... is a second loan spell possible

He's seemed a bit like Marmite as far as NSC posters are concerned, but I think we could do worse....and did last season!

Ex-F1 champion Brabham died aged 88

Seem to remember he once finished a race, and got some F1 championship points, by pushing his car round the track for the last few bends and over the finish line, after it had conked out!

Another UKIP loon - mainstream party voters should be hung for treason

I see he runs a rest home for the elderly, in Southport. I think it may be about time he took advantage of some of his own facilities.

[Albion] What is people's problem with Sherwood?

I'd not seen that before, thank you. Our revenue financial performance looks pretty impressive to me when you compare us to our rivals, especially when you consider that we have one less funding stream than 7 of our rivals did (the parachute payments).

The big question: Do you trust Tony Bloom and his team with the Albion?

Or was it a case of " look if we go for this guy, he's talented but there are risks given the way he runs his life", and a decision was taken - God knows by who - that we'd take the risk. It may be that the homework was done, they just decided, having done it, to gamble.
