Actually you know what?!? I'm sick of up and coming types, who claim they wish to develop with the club when we all know that's bollocks and they'll jump at the first big ship that passes in the night. If we go for a manager who's, not totally, but a bit washed up - perchance with something to prove, you never know? he may just stick around for a bit. That's my logic and if it were to be Wise, then he'd get my backing until he proved that he is no exception to oft told sad parable of washed up managers.
