The picture I posted is of a European Hornet (Vespa Crabro). The photo was taken on my back door a couple of years ago, we have a lot around our way - there is a large wood just behind our house, their idea habitat. They are not aggressive, unlike the common wasps. You do not get Asian Hornets...
