    [Misc] Retirement

Many thanks all for your advise, once my work situation is clearer I will sit down with my IFA. I wouldn't take out Equity Release until my cash starts running low but it's an option worth exploring. It's all a hard decision but with age I'm starting to hate work, it should be get easier with...

    [Misc] Retirement

I'm sixty next year, my boss has just put the company up for sale so my working future looks a bit bleak. Hoping to get a bit of redundancy. Got a pension pot of about £200k, plus a small pension from Surrey County Council worth about £150 pm. Has anyone taken out an Equity Release? My wife I...

[Albion] Team for Arsenal League Cup

Caiceado had benefitted from a loan period. Most of our current youth team haven't had that luxury. The young lads played well at FGR but Arsenal is a totally different proposition. Sod the WC, it's two games before the break put out the first team.

[Albion] Team for Arsenal League Cup

Yep, so let's have a cup run. Two more games before the break just put your strongest team out.

[Albion] RDZ - “we don’t need a striker in January”

I think we need to add to the squad, anymore injuries or suspensions will see us light on the bench. We need to keep on adding quality as we are likely to be selling some more quality.

[Albion] Team for Arsenal League Cup

Oh well let's not bother entering the cup competitions in the future and just concentrate on a top ten finish.

[Albion] Foul on Webster by Haaland ??

He made that situation for himself he decided it was best for three Albion players to deal with a bouncing ball. Very poor all round conceding from an old style punt fiwn the middle of the pitch.

[Albion] Foul on Webster by Haaland ??

The trains were on strike, Webster was just weak. Also Sanchez was at fault coming miles out and not getting the ball. Simply poor defending all round.

[Albion] Foul on Webster by Haaland ??

I always think it's easier to stand up rather than fall over. Weak by Webster, don't think he's been on it for the last few weeks.

All went amazingly well, journey up run to the timetable. Coming back train from Piccadilly was cancelled so walked to Victoria and got train on to Leeds where our connection was on time.

Bit of a gamble, getting train to Leeds, then on to Manchester, £64 return. Trans Pennine is subject to delay and cancellation. Oh well could end up with a beer in Leeds.

Sorry didn't realise it had been mentioned. I'll wade through the other threads. Looks like it will be a long drive. Contacted National Rail Enquiries, if they do run there's a bus replacement between Stafford and Crewe. Can get a train to Leeds but Trans Peninne is subject to cancellation.

    [Albion] Brentford tickets

My email is currently defunct due to a change of service supplier. My ticket was sent to a mate who ordered three including mine which is a blank ticket with my name and collect. I presume I just turn up with ID and collect.

    [Albion] £100m January Warchest

I totally hear what you're saying but don't you think in the interview he would have put his ideas on the table with a potential wish list and not just come in to be a good puppy dog. We're a progressive club and need people at the top with progressive ideas.

    [Albion] £100m January Warchest

When RDZ signed surely he was told / given a budget. He must want to put his own stamp on the squad and bring in some players of his own choice / style.
