I’m not sure ‘clear and obvious comes into it (that’s for penalties and the like). I thought linesmen were told not to flag immediately which means it can go to VAR, which is what happened.

That’s not what being entitled means.

We could see it was out in real time with almost the same view as the linesman. Had absolutely no doubt it was going to be disallowed.
