I quite like the idea (again based on one game) but what was his interception rate (or whatever the statos call it) ? Basically that person needs to provide defensive cover by nicking the ball off the opposition. Caicedo was the best I have ever seen at this skill.
Sometimes this will happen. Other times our passing will be a little more effective. We can stretch that packed defence with quicker passing to the wide areas. TBF this was happening last night and would have been praised had we not conceded a couple of soft goals. I think with post match...
There’s a north/south thing going on here and for a change the northerners are on the posh side. Rhymes with gone for me. If I were posher or a northerner then the other option.
Yep. Home from work around 4.30. Collect takeaway from our local Greek restaurant around 6.45. I will probably go for the platter in honour of the occasion, even though it is almost impossible to eat it all. Then settle down to watch the match on tv.
He is confusing our actual support, drawn from all over Sussex and beyond with a few posters on NSC. I think he is comparing this with Athens because he hasn’t been there.
Ok, lots of supposition in there but the actual travel advice from the club says:
‘
Carry photo ID (passport) at all times in the city.’
Lots of people will be reading this thread for information and will not share your desire for arguments with petty officialdom.
Personally I think it unnecessary these days. The argument in favour centers around lower league attendances. If someone is motivated enough to watch their local non Prem team though then I hardly think a televised game would put them off.
As others have said some people will like it and others not. Depends upon your personal circumstances. The angriest will be the ones who don’t like it. Perhaps it would be worth checking with all supporters before manning the barricades though…..
