[Misc] Anyone else having Christmas dinner/day on their own ?

Sorry in advance for the probably very long woe is me post but I’ve always wanted an excuse to get my Christmas feelings off my chest. Christmas has always been a pretty weird time for me. My mum lost both her brother and sister in December before I was old enough to remember them but it...

[Music] What's the best song you have heard today? Share it here.

To celebrate one of my favourite freestyles of recent years finally being (partly) added to Spotify I thought I’d add it in here. (Probably another rabbit hole for you @Pogue Mahone if I haven’t mentioned Songer before!) “Sniff cocaine off a holy book, you man should read between the lines”...

    [Misc] Work’s Christmas Do’s

Personal Work Christmas Party highlights came when I was at World of Books. There was a bloke there called Mental Jake (not to his face, he was huge)who used to crush and sniff his anti-psychotic medication. One year he got kicked out quite early on in the night and when we left a few hours...

[Albion] 10-game ban and 50-loyalty point deduction

13/14 years ago that is exactly what me and my mates were doing. It’s called being a kid. I suppose the difference is we were slumming it in L1 and the club couldn’t afford to look down their nose a fan because we’d found a corner shop that would serve us underage and sung a stupid song. It...

    [Help] Gambling: The Unique Addiction?

I would argue there is a unique nature to gambling addictions. A drug addict doesn’t think doing more heroin is going to make it easier to stop doing heroin. They might convince themselves that they’ll stop after one more hit but shooting up more isn’t going to reverse the damage. Gambling...

    [Football] England v USA

    - The feeling that a country is too much of a nebulous concept to fully support - A feeling that their country doesn’t align with them either culturally or politically. - Mixed heritage leaving people feeling like they lack one core national identity - The understanding that they have as much...

    [Football] England v USA

I think you’re a horrible rule breaker. You’re not allowed to say what you said. Disgusting. (Also I rushed straight to this thread and copied the title. Obviously I should have checked the last page, my bad x)

England aren’t shit/Southgate isn’t shit/I don’t hope a team with an Albion connection does better than England

    [Help] Gambling: The Unique Addiction?

Yep. Still happens today. About 5 or 6 years ago Bet365 used to do offers where if you placed up to £50 on certain games they’d give you a free in-play matched bet. I used to stick £50 on Over 0.5 goals at 1/20 or whatever, and then as soon as the game started I’d throw the £50 free bet on the...

    [Help] Gambling: The Unique Addiction?

Gambling companies are scum. Plain and simple. I’m lucky that it’s not an addiction that I struggle with but the fact a bookies will happily take hundreds of thousands off one punter but restrict your account if you win consistently is one of those things that doesn’t get spoken about enough.

[Drinking] Pubs that have gone downhill

The Caxton Arms has one, along with darts & Toad In The Hole. I know it’s the opposite of the thread title, and it’s a popular opinion on here because of who runs it but the Caxton is excellent now. I used to go in there before Brighton games when they did a free BBQ and it was empty. Went in...

[Drinking] Pubs that have gone downhill

Tell me about it. 15(?) pubs in Shoreham. 2 pool tables. Not many more with a darts board either. The poncification of pubs really is shocking.

    [Food] Shoreham cafes

My family used to swear by Teddy’s when we lived in Shoreham. Realistically they’re all much of muchness though.

[Albion] Moises Caicedo - New contract signed until summer 2027 with 1 year extra option.

All I’m going to say is if a Chelsea fan had posted that exact message word for word then he’d have been called a bellend long before I saw this thread. It’s the same level of bellendery so he’s fair game. Gotta nip this sort of behaviour in the bud. Mate, I’d take most people on this forum...

[Albion] Moises Caicedo - New contract signed until summer 2027 with 1 year extra option.

I have no problem with supporters of other teams posting on here, which is why I’ve never complained about other teams fans posting on here. I have no problem with your or any of our other fans going and keeping tabs on our loan players. I post frequently on a multi-team forum, so it would be...

So is some patronising bellend allowed to start a thread on here every time one of the moneybags 6 (7 if you include Newcastle) allowed to come in here for the lowdown because some whopper on Twitter said he’s leaving us for them? F*ck ‘em.

Surprised how nice everyone is being. Personally some bellend coming on to our forum to ask what they should expect if their club continues with the asset stripping of ours based on some Twitter bollocks should be told to f*ck off for being a cock.

It would still upset the morons though, so why bother?

    [Technology] Xbox one - question(s)

On a slightly different note, I’d recommend a Game Pass subscription. Few quid a month but basically Netflix for games. Great selection for any age and a good way for him to test a lot of games without forking out every time.
