    [Travel] Holiday plans this summer?

Difficult to see how getting away this summer is going to be possible now. Also expect some knock on effect here, impossible to keep this sodding thing away

[Help] Advice from an electrician please

Live and neutral at the switch, the light end had earth too. Disconnected and taped up both ends

[Help] Advice from an electrician please

LOL - hopefully no live wires and I've attached a label at switch that says precisely where the other end is

[Help] Advice from an electrician please

That's what I did. Disconnected and labelled. Shoved wires back into outside wall and marked. Didn't blow up when switched mains back on so hoping all ok

[Help] Advice from an electrician please

I think it's fairly simple. I've got a crappy old outside light on my rear wall that doesn't work, is ugly and and isn't needed. I want to take it off, tape up the wires and push back into the hole before filling. I then thought if I took off the switch on the inside of the wall disconnected...

[Brighton] B&H council tax up by 5.1%

Not getting better anytime soon. There's an ageing population to look after too. I'm resigned to these sorts of increases ad infinitum

    [Football] Joel Veltman

He's already in mine. I was leaning towards Webster, his injury (as Solly's) at an unfortunate time for more than POTS reasons obv. As for others, Bissouma not great of late, Lallana not enough game time, Trossard and MacA not consistent enough. I think I have him in a 3 horse race with Dunk...

[Albion] Which was the BEST goal? Dunk or Trossard?

Take nothing away from Dunks superbly guided effort but it's Trossard for me. The whole thing from start (Veltman) to finish was a thing of beauty, and a goal the likes of City/Barca would be proud of. He's come in for a lot of stick but not sure he wouldn't be a better option than Maupay

[Albion] Brighton NSC fanbase - where are you from?

    [Travel] Holiday plans this summer?

France are saying they will allow Brits in so hopefully my June Loire trip will be on https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-56364290

    Missing Woman in London

No offence taken but my daughter lives there and your description is bollox. Anyway the area is irrelevant here, wasn't a local nutjob

[Albion] ** Southampton v BHA ** - Premier League Score Predictor - Now in its 10th SEASON !!

I've done a 4 match Acca lumping on us beating both Stains and the barcodes. First football bet in over a year so feeling very confident. 1-3 in this first leg

    [Misc] COVIDIOTS hot spots

I have. I've got so used to it (In Tenerife need them on anywhere outside too) that I sometimes simply forget. I'm sure that counts for a decent proportion and others that just can't be arsed to take them off between 'visits'. All of which makes me wonder why it's so bloody difficult for those...

[Technology] The In no way official Electric Car thread

I've been thinking about EV and looked at the charging point installation. Cynic in me says these 'OLEV' installers are just pocketing the extra £350. They don't wan't to be too precise on pricing without a 'survey' (LOL) but as best I can tell they're after about £900/1000 but then I get £350...

    [Albion] Premier League 02-04/03

I worry too, but a look at their remaining fixtures gives me a little more confidence, just a little though

[Albion] Midfield goal production and the striker myth

Typical undermining of an intelligent thread. In my day half an orange and a B&H Gold was the fare of all the best strikers, that's where we've gone wrong

    [Albion] Potter In or Out?

I'm not sure, I guess there are different ways to skin a cat. I sit watching this stuff thinking we should let the opposition play out a bit more, not on the break but more in the middle third, that would then at least allow us a bit of space when we get to their area. But it does rely on fast...

[Albion] Midfield goal production and the striker myth

He's on a mission, and will throw all sorts of facts and numbers at you until you acquiesce. The fact that there are so many different styles, formations and jobs is irrelevant. You must understand that you dinosaur!
