I have friends working at M&S Shoreham-by-Sea. A few are 68 plus and probably about 10 are over 70yrs. Admittedly most only work part time, so do they have to give up work? For some, they live alone and working, keeps them sane. At least they’ve being able to buy toilet rolls, had good stocks on...

My son is an aircraft engineer with TUI. Every time I look, more holidays and cruises are being cancelled, I can’t think there’s much left of the world to fly to, at the moment. I am really worried for him, large mortgage and young children.

Just returned from Sainsbury’s West Hove, I don’t drive so it was a nice healthy walk both ways. What a waste of time! Absolute chaos there! I did the same yesterday, no toilet rolls, pasta etc. I did manage to get rice and as there’s lots of lovely veg, I’m going to be living on stuffed...

Maybe, rather than sending out loads of refunds, the club could reduce next season’s direct debits for STH, refunding the money that way?

Well I maybe foolish, but I booked a Caribbean cruise today, got a real bargain! I go mid April, if the situation gets worse, they’ll cancel the cruise and I’ll get my money back. I’m healthy (touch wood), can’t spend all the time worrying what if.

I often wonder what will happen when I die. All my bank accounts, utility bills etc. are online, absolutely no paper trails. I guess my sons will have fun (not), trying to sort it all out.

Drives me mad, I’m in west lower, there seems to be quite a few kids near me. Up and down, up and down, everyone has to stand up to let them pass. They must have the bladders of old men! The men aren’t much better!

Unbelievable, I’m sure it was only a few days ago that I was reading his posts? I used to ‘smile’ when he ‘appeared’ to be so IT ignorant, I often thought he was pulling our legs! Most of all I enjoyed his comments on football. I don’t know how old he was, but he’d obviously been around football...

I have lived in Hove/Portslade area since 1966 and wouldn’t want to move away from the area, but I really hate the beggars and graffiti along Western Road and beyond. Unfortunately it seems to be the same throughout a lot of European cities, so sad.

How desperately sad.
