It is and will remain 50 fps as that's what is broadcast. In reality the 50 fps is 25 as it is interlaced footage. Only a certain amount of super slow cameras on PL obs. Usually one, at most two for non UK TX live games. Sky and BT have more, but less than you think. Aware this is dull chat!

As much as I love the narrative - cameras are supplied by the various OB companies that broadcast the games - and they change each match.

I don't buy the calibration. The cameras change each match, and they all have mega zooms. Impossible to know who's on what in an instant.

No, I think the commentator is good. The crowd FX are usually too low and that does make it sound less impressive. A simple compressor on his and the crowd voice would sort all of this out.
