    [Football] Ross Barkley - released.

Interviewed him once. I have never met a thicker person in my life. Wonderful player, when on form.

[Albion] Billy Gilmour SINGED on a four-year contract

10 million quid for Gilmour is a superb deal. He plays brilliantly for Scotland and has always performed well at Chelsea. Had a stinker at Norwich last season, but if it had gone well, we wouldn't be able to consider him. Good lad as well, have filmed with him.

    [Cricket] Offensive TV Ad

Not offensive in the slightest, a bit dross in my view. But it's pretty accurate of life and conversations that are had.

[Misc] wife away - house tidying

This is true. We have regular rows about it. My wife hates the way i store things, but she NEVER stores things at all. She places things to sort out at a later date. I get the blame for all the mess, when very little of it is me.

[Misc] wife away - house tidying

I spent an entire day cleaning the kitchen and the kids room yesterday as well as constructing shelving in teh garage. The place was a shit tip because we had about 3 play dates in a row during the summer holiday to store up favours. It was nice and clean after 6 hours work. 15 minute later my...

[Misc] Do you have any lines you don't cross, period? (Principles)

I will never, ever give James Corden any praise for anything even if he has done something which could be considered good.

    [NSC] Amaon Prime Day(s)

Anyone on the look out for headphones... last years Sony XM4's - which are absolutely superb - are on for 209 quid. Their replacements are the XM5's which are 379 quid (and only marginally better sound wise by all accounts, and worse in design). They retail at 279 at argos etc.

    [Other Sport] Sir Mo Farah

Having worked with Sir Mo, I find the media portrayal of him very different to the reality of the person, especially in his last BBC 1 film (a few years ago). I have only watched a bit of the documentary, and will watch some more this weekend. I have no reason to doubt these new revelations...

[Football] New Kits Thread - Season 22/23

Errea made custom kits, which when they were great, were amazing. But when they were poor.... Think Adidas have better designs than Nike. I am also too old to be buying football shirts.

[Politics] By-election in Honiton and Tiverton.

In less serious analysis, does anyone think that this is a Bye-Election for Boris Johnson?

[Politics] By-election in Honiton and Tiverton.

I did alot of work with a former labour cabinet minister in 2019. His view was that it was always going to get much worse before it gets better. At the time I couldn't really believe/understand it - but now I think that in order to reverse alot of the disastrous policies and direction that we...

[Politics] By-election in Honiton and Tiverton.

I'd be delighted with a LD win, but one must always remember that a large amount of the population never admit to voting Tory. Wakefield will be easy labour. Even if Tory win honiton, if the swing is bad enough, it's not good news for Boris.
