If we got a penalty would you trust him to take it with the kind of form he is currently in? He has been so poor this season. A real shame as on his day he is class. Can't see him starting against Forest.
Fulham would suit him. Sunderland would be a one way trip to the championship. We would however be at high risk of losing some key players to his new side in the next transfer window.
Never seen an away end almost totally devoid of fans wearing replica shirts. It was like a giant Primark advert but with fatter uglier models. Strange bunch.
Yep. Sound has been terrible last few games. Its not just that the volume seems lower but also that the bass and treble have changed. Hopefully someone at the club will sort it ready for next match.
The big memory I have was walking from the station to the town centre early in the morning and seeing shop owners boarding up the shop windows whilst police dogs that looked like they had not eaten for a week going mental at anyone walking past. This was at about 9am in the morning! Got into a...
I went to that one as well. Had to keep a bit if a low profile before and after. The locals were still a bit touchy about the last match! I think we let them win just to try and cheer them up a bit.
If it were at the Olympic stadium in London every session would be sold out within 60 mins of going on sale. I think I am right in thinking it will be held in London in a few years time?
Can't be much fun for the athletes competing in a virtually empty stadium.
I'd like to see the 'away' beer on the home concourses to supplement the local ales. For some matches they could also do a mini beer festival where local brewers are invited to the stadium to offer a small selection of there ales.
It still amazes me how many houses and buildings are lit with filament lights. Energy saving lights and now led bulbs make a huge difference to power consumption. I worked out the other day my house is now lit with less than 100W of energy for an investment of about £100 of long life LED bulbs...
Hope the Argus have good lawyers if they plan to tell 'the story' in too much detail at this stage. The chances of them knowing all the facts are slim and both sides could be in the mood for legal action against anyone in the media or otherwise speculating or making accusations.
Take note...
I have worked on the Isle of Man and can confirm that H&S is about 15-20 years behind the rest of the UK. Having worked on many sites in the UK it was both a surprise and shock to see what goes on in the IOM especially on civil construction sites. Lovely place though!
I'm driving past there tomorrow. I can give Poyet & co a lift up and bring back the £2.5 million compensation on Thursday if that helps speed things up.
